HISTOREX 1:32 SCALE PLASITIC KIT OF THE FRENCH REGIMENTAL WAGON

HISTOREX BOX ART

This image of the kit's "box art" shows the completed 4-wheel campaign regimental wagon.  The actual number of wagons per regiment varied over time and whether the unit was Garde or Line infantry, cavalry, or other formation.   The item number is HX3305 (30305) as shown or the stand-alone wagon only 784000 (GC784.

FRENCH NAPOLEONIC AMMUNITION CAISSON DRAWINGS
These two images come from the Historex kit and are absolutely necessary to assemble the 4-whell campaign forge.  Several sprues cover the model but the individual parts are not numbered and sometimes don't exactly match the schematic.

In these two photos are shown the start of assembly with the wagon bed.   Both the interior and exterior are detailed.

 PHOTO No. 2
Because I did not photographed "in work" construction steps, this photo shows the completed and painted wagon body.  The rear drop-down gate was used to hold hay or additonal baggage.

 PHOTO No. 3
Here's another view of the completed wagon body from the right rear showing the "drop-down" gate.

 PHOTO No. 4
Another view of the completed wagon body from the right front.  The "tree" extends out and is arranged to accomodate two horses.

 PHOTO No. 5
This view of the completed wagon body from the left front shows the two "crew" members.  The figure on the left is a French soldier from the 1er Regiment de Fusiliers-Grenadiers du Garde Imperiale.  The figure on the right is from the same regiment in undress.

 PHOTO No.6
This photo shows the completed wagon with canvas cover marked "Garde Imperiale - Garde eagle emblem - 1er Fusiliers-Grenadies.  Each regiment in the Garde had a higher allocation of regimental wagons than the regiments of the line.

 PHOTO No. 7

 PHOTO No. 8

 PHOTO No. 9
