* The "Soldier" kits (653304 and 653404) and the "NCO" (653304a and 653404a) kits are intended to be either a driver (conducteur) who rides the left-hand horse in a team or an NCO outrider. The kit is not properly furnished for either one! Gun team kits, four-horse team kits, and two-horse team kits include drivers (conducteurs) and horses with proper saddles and harnessing equipment. To make an "outrider" of the Train d'Artillerie, the two "soldier" kits above have to be supplemented with spare parts, e.g., the proper saddle or saddlecloth, portmanteau, etc. The Train d'Artillerie officer and trumpeter kits are OK. |
