This page shows the standard leg positions for foot troops.  Most of these kits provide extra pairs of legs that will make these positions and more by the "mix-and-match" possibilities shown in black at the bottom left.  Usually two or more pairs of arms are included to achieve "present arms", "shoulder arms", and more.  These types of kits are called Conversion Packs.  Additional combinations of arm and leg positions are possible with spare parts which are shown in the Historex Collector's Guide.
