• POSTAGE AND SHIPMENT - Historical Miniatures groups its products into Painted Miniatures, Merchandise (kits and supplies), and Reference Materials (books and plates). There are three shipping "categories" consisting of the 1) the United States and its possessions, 2) Canada and Mexico, and 3) "all others". All items are shipped U.S. First Class.  All others are shipped "at cost" depending on your chosen method of shipment (air or surface).  Additional charges for customer-requested delivery beyond the allowances defined above will be quoted. • VIRGNIA SALES TAX - Merchandise shipped to a Virginia address will be charged the current Virginia State Sales Tax.

• GUARANTEE - Historical Miniatures guarantees satisfaction or a full refund on return of the merchandise in good condition. This guarantee expires in 30 days from your receipt of the miniature unless circumstances warrant additional time. Simply return the merchandise in good condition stating that a refund is requested. On receipt of the returned merchandise in good condition, a refund check will be sent to you.

• DAMAGE AND RETURNS - If you receive a miniature or merchandise in damaged condition, write down the circumstances of the delivery including condition of the package and its contents. Email for advice on returning the merchandise. Historical Miniatures will pay for the return of damaged goods.

• METHOD OF PAYMENT - Payment must be made in U.S. funds by money order, personal check, or PayPal in advance based on an emailed invoice to you. Bank charge cards are not accepted at this time. DO NOT SEND CASH! Foreign customers: note that all orders must be paid by PayPal payable in U.S. dollars. If you wish to use PayPal, we will accept payment however a finance transaction charge will be added to the order. Click here for correspondence, email, and PayPal contact information.

• COMMISSION WORK - Individual figures, vignettes, and dioramas have been suspended.

• RESTOCKING CHARGE - Any merchandise returned by the customer or any merchandise (kits and material) used in a cancelled commissioned project is subject to a 20% restocking charge based on the retail price of the item(s). Such returns from the customer must be received in unused condition. Postage to return such items is paid by the customer.

• ATTIC SALES - HM's Attic is a special sales section consisting of new and used items on sale at special prices.   There are books, magazines, kits, games (painted miniatures are found in the SHOWCASE).  Each category of items has its own postal rate so read the introductory information for each page.  It's best to send Email to us to confirm and reserve your selections because all items are subject to prior sale.  Go to the ATTIC.
